Home

I’m a 30 year old wife and mother, and I’m a full-time marketer. I’ve been working since I was 14 years old, and I can honestly say for the first time in my life that I love my job! I make a good living, I work at home, and I get all the flexibility I need allowing for what is most important to me – time with my family. But getting to this point was not easy, because there was no one to guide me, and there are a lot of scams out there!

I initially started looking for work at home opportunities because I lost my job with a very large insurance company, and was unable to find work in the traditional job market. I didn’t come from a sales or computer background – in fact I’m one of those people who barely know anything about computers! (Yes we still exist.) I know how to use one, but I have NO clue how to fix one if something goes wrong.

I had no marketing knowledge, almost no money to invest, and bills piling up, including my new mortgage (I’d bought a house just a few months before I lost my job.)  A person in this kind of situation is truly at a low point. They are worried, they are scared, and they are rapidly approaching broke.

The last thing they need is someone trying to take what little money they have for a product that doesn’t work as they promise. The last thing they need is some “guru” wasting what valuable time they have on something that is doomed to failure.

I once signed up for a “program” at considerable cost compared to other programs out there. I was fooled by a very compelling sales pitch, and once I paid the fees and got access, I found it was nothing more than a scheme to get you to sign up for a whole host of other services! I requested a refund, but I have not seen it to this day.

Unfortunately, I ran into more of these scams getting started – new tools, tricks, methods, and strategies that promised to be the miracle I needed. Sorry to tell you all this, but it took me too long to figure it out so hopefully I will save you some time … the secret is that there are NO secret methods. There is nothing out there that will guarantee you thousands of dollars in your first week. There is no “key.” It does not exist.

So someone who is brand new to the field is very vulnerable to being taken advantage of, because they don’t know any better yet, and because these are very experienced and cunning marketers you are dealing with! They know what you want, why you’re there, and what will convince you.

Those scams out there are the reason I created this blog. I want to help people get started in the work at home field by providing legitimate information and real business opportunities. I am not a “guru” nor do I claim to be an “expert” (yet) but I do have a lot of research and experience to share, and a genuine desire to help others. So if you are new, please subscribe to my blog for helpful tips and information, made especially for beginners!
